Robyn and Liam’s October wedding at New Woll Estate in Hawick was one of those days that just felt good from start to finish. If you think New Woll Estate is just a golf clubhouse, think again because this venue is an absolute gem. Beautiful wood beams, the most gorgeous fireplaces, and such a cosy yet elegant atmosphere that works perfectly for an autumn wedding.

From the moment I arrived, the vibe was relaxed and full of excitement. The morning with Robyn and her bridal party was incredibly chilled out. There was music playing, lots of laughter, and tequila rose shots before heading off to the ceremony. Honestly, it set the tone for the entire day. Robyn was effortlessly cool, and I kept catching myself thinking just how laid-back and fun she was as a bride. Her bridesmaids absolutely brought the party energy from morning right through to night.
They were blessed with the most smashing weather for October with sunshine, mild temperatures, and not a hint of the usual Scottish unpredictability. This meant the drinks reception could be held outside on the patio, which was perfect. Guests soaking up the sun, glasses in hand, laughter everywhere, it couldn’t have been better.
The staff at New Woll Estate deserve a special mention. The food was brilliant, and the team could not have been more hardworking or kinder if they tried. Everything ran seamlessly, allowing Robyn and Liam (and everyone else) to fully relax and enjoy the day.

Robyn and Liam weren’t hugely fussed about couple portraits, but I wanted to make sure they had some absolutely gorgeous images to look back on. We snuck off for a relaxed 20-minute wander, making the most of the surroundings, and came back with some truly smashing shots without keeping them away from their friends and family for long.
The speeches were a highlight: hilarious, heartfelt, and so thoughtful. It was so clear how deeply loved Robyn and Liam are by the people around them. They were surrounded by friends and family who just get them and know them inside out.
As the evening rolled in, the dance floor came alive, sparklers lit up the night, and the celebration ended exactly how it should, full of laughter, love, and brilliant moves.
Robyn and Liam, what a day. Thank you for letting me be part of it. It was an absolute joy from start to finish. ✨
